We are a community of Christians who are building for the future. We are Baptist but go beyond the common understanding of Baptist. We rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to lead us and consider Christ as the only Ruler over the Church. We believe in serving one another and making efforts to ensure that no person is neglected. We believe in committment and serving one another.

We Believe Jesus is Lord. Scripture is true. Prayer is central.

Our Congregation and Our Ministry

Java Village Baptist Church is a Baptist church founded in 1830 moving to their present building in 1888.

Java Village Baptist Church is known for it's Biblical teaching, friendly atmosphere and delicious fellowship meals.

We are Baptist, welcoming all who wish to worship with us believing in Biblical practices and charity.

We do not judge others as there is only one Judge.

Services are 10:30 AM Sunday mornings and run approximately an hour. We are seeing God build a community of caring Christians.

Our Ministry

Rev. Jan Michael Nace, BA, MDiv (Wittenberg University), ThD is originally from the American Midwest and provides modern ministry in the areas of teaching and pastoral care.

Ordained in 1975 he served as Senior Pastor in various denominations then as a Prison Chaplain before coming to Java. He holds his ordination status with two ministry fellowships. His ministry extends to other communities and even overseas.

His wife Sylvie is a retired Criminologist and gourmet cook who has published an extensive vegan cookbook years in the making. She is also talented in interior decorating.

The desire of our ministry is to bring the realization and presence of the living God to others.

At Java Church we seek to provide the best teaching and pastoral care possible.
